Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms: By registering on the TNGNA portal, you agree to abide by the rules of the Tamilnadu Government Nurses Association and the directives of the Returning Officer.

2. Eligibility Verification: Registration is strictly limited to nurses currently serving under the Tamil Nadu Government (including Time Scale and MRB). The Admin reserves the right to reject applications with invalid RN Numbers.

3. Code of Conduct: Any candidate or member found engaging in fraudulent voting, sharing passwords, or bringing disrepute to the association will face immediate suspension and legal action.

4. Election Authority: The decisions made by the Returning Officer and the Chief Trustee regarding candidate approval, vote counting, and dispute resolution are final and binding.

Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection: We collect your Full Name, Mobile Number, Date of Birth, RN Number, Workplace, and UPI Transaction IDs strictly for the purpose of verifying your identity as a legitimate voter/candidate.

2. Vote Secrecy: The voting mechanism is designed to separate voter identity from the ballot choices. The database records that you voted to prevent double-voting, but it cannot trace who you voted for.

3. Data Protection: Your personal information is stored securely via Google Firebase. It will not be sold, rented, or shared with third-party marketing agencies.

4. Electoral Roll Access: A verified list of approved voters (excluding sensitive passwords/DOBs) may be shared with official candidates purely for election canvassing purposes, as per democratic norms.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Strict No-Refund Policy

1. Voter Registration (₹500): The ₹500 fee covers administrative verification and backend digital infrastructure. This fee is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE, even if your account is rejected due to invalid details or if you fail to cast your vote on election day.

2. Candidate Nomination (₹25,000): The ₹25,000 leadership application deposit is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Voluntary withdrawal of candidacy.
• Rejection of the application by the Returning Officer due to eligibility issues.
• Disqualification due to violation of the Code of Conduct.

By proceeding with payment, you legally acknowledge and accept these financial terms.
